At least a lot of fellow voters seem to agree with us having picked "The Sixth Sense".
This new "favorite film of last year" poll is interesting. I have seen all of the possible films except for The Departed and The Fountain - The Fountain being very high on my to-view-soon list. I think it might be a film for Haley too. *ponders*
Children of Men was quite an impressive film, yet its ending spoiled it a bit for me. United 93 was just... so incredibly moving. I really turned me into one pile of weeping human being, oy oy.
Little Miss Sunshine though. That was a fine film I thought. It felt like a wonderful and honest film, delivering a true message to the audience as well. It had fun, it had drama. It's a road movie, about love and being yourself. I loved that.
Now, our purpose is to guess Haley's choice though...
T'is a tough one. I'm going (and hoping) for Little Miss Sunshine. Who's with me? _________________ "You and I are real, Teddy, aren't we?"

I LOVED that movie, but it wasn't as good as World Trade Center. In United 93, I kept rooting for a different ending (like the reviews said would happen), even though YOU KNOW darn well that won't happen...I hope Haley has seen United 93 and W.T.C, 'cause lived in NYC for college and was there on 9/11...
ANYWAY:
I think he is saying that about Little Miss Sunshine because he was at the closing night premiere with a girl, so... _________________ †Still standing behind you, Haley. Hang tough. You'll be all the stronger for it. My support for you will never wither away†... |

| It has been 7 days since the last teaser. Is it only the approval of Meredith Fine that we are waiting for? |

Alright, I thought that it might be something like that. Waiting patiently That's one thing that the Home of the Giants fans have learned, be patient. All our waiting is going to pay off.
Btw, I'm watching Hoosiers right now, what an amazing movie! |

I am VERY sure that it will pay off. I am thinking that we might see the interview by the end of the week, hopefully! _________________ †Still standing behind you, Haley. Hang tough. You'll be all the stronger for it. My support for you will never wither away†... |

Here it is, people ! Thank you for your patience, and I hope that this long anticipated release of the exclusive interview that I did with Haley Joel Osment has been worth the wait. Haley has been extremely busy lately, but he was gracious enough to give me an hour and a half of his invaluable time, as I had a one on one interview with him. This transcript of the interview was very carefully made, to capture every word that Haley said, every nuance, and I am happy to tell you that this transcript was approved by Haley, SymPics International, Inc and director Rusty Gorman, with NO EDITS made at all. This is Haley Joel Osment truly unscripted, unedited, indepth and best of all, real . Unlike the tabloid news, no spin has been put on anything that Haley said, what you will read is straight from Haley's lips, and I can say that there has never been a more indepth interview with Haley Joel Osment ever published before this.

It took a decent amount of time to even get through that first part of the transcript - quite the amazing and lengthy read I'd say. I am impressed by a lot of the things that Haley spoke about really.
I am particulary impressed by the way 'different' cinema seems to be on Haley's mind. Taking time to get the right script, find the right people to work with. Not being afraid to take adventures in cinema that might not be Hollywood-hot, you know (Edges, for example). It's amazing to me that Haley seems so very interested in doing cinema that really matters. I think we (the audience) all really need that kind of fresh air in film.
I can't wait to read more of the interview. Thanks for making it available in this format - it's a wonderful read indeed. _________________ "You and I are real, Teddy, aren't we?"
