So many young actors have appeared in countless films since the dawn of the silver screen, but only once in a long while, perhaps once in generations, comes a young actor who manages to astonish , mesmorise , captivate and convince those watching him on screen that they are seeing something special and amazing on screen.

Haley is that special actor who has displayed an astonishing ability to inhabit a role and to move those watching him to depths of emotion that no other young actor has achieved before. He has been called a prodigy by M. Night Shyamalan , and Steven Spielberg has gone on record to say that his deeply moving and complex film , A.I. Artificial Intelligence , a film considered by many now as one of his greatest achievements , could not have been made without Haley Joel Osment in the main role of David the mecha boy.
